Calculated for your rental
Counts come from your beds, guests and laundry routine, and every planning assumption can be changed. A sheet set that fits 10-inch mattresses won't be suggested for your 14-inch hybrid.
Honest by design
No price means “no price,” never $0. Vendor facts carry their source and date, and “unknown” stays unknown. Rankings never depend on commission.

All answers- How much does it cost to stock a 2-bedroom Airbnb?Plan about $2,450 to stock a 2-bedroom rental that sleeps 6 (two Queen beds and a Full sofa bed, one bathroom), or about $1,300 for the must-haves alone. That covers linens, towels, kitchen basics, safety gear and cleaning tools at prices we saw on retailer pages on Oct 30, 2026, before tax and shipping. Furniture, mattresses and appliances are not included.
- What do I need in place before my first short-term rental guest? Before your first guest, have beds with mattress protectors and at least three sheet sets each, towels for every guest, kitchen basics, a tested entry method with a backup, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms that meet your local code, and a one-page house manual. Then spend one night there yourself as a test stay.
- What should an Airbnb check-in message say?An Airbnb check-in message should give the address, check-in time, parking, step-by-step entry instructions, the door code, Wi-Fi details, where to find the house manual and how to reach you if something goes wrong. Many hosts send it 24 to 48 hours before arrival, through the platform's messaging, with a fresh code for each stay.
- How much should I charge for an Airbnb cleaning fee?Charge at least what one turnover costs you. Add cleaner pay, laundry, supplies and any other per-stay costs. If your platform takes its fee on the cleaning fee too, gross it up: cost divided by one minus the fee rate. A $108 turnover at a 15.5% fee needs a cleaning fee of about $128.
